Debbie Lyon earned her Bachelor’s degree from Southwest Texas State University in Management and her Master’s Degree from Liberty University in Professional Counseling.  She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern in the state of Texas and is supervised by Sherri Lambiase.  Debbie has counseling experience with adolescents and adults with anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, trauma, sexual addiction, substance abuse, grief, illness, eating disorders, financial stress, life transitions, marriage and relationship problems, and parenting struggles.  She has led mental health support groups for women who have suffered trauma, sexual abuse or been diagnosed with PTSD.  Debbie also has experience leading groups such as Boundaries and Changes that Heal.  She integrates her diverse background of 20+ years of women’s ministry leadership, school and community volunteerism, being a military spouse for 20 of the 34 years she’s been married while raising three daughters, into her genuine passion for helping others.  
In her free time, Debbie enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, watching a good movie, and traveling.
